I have found it to be a waste of money. This could be because of the brand of peel I have, my skin, etc. I find water works just as well, if not better. I don't notice any redness or irritation after peels and neutralizer, but I suspect this is a result of such a mild peel. The last time I used a peel I just splashed with cold water and added a little Cetaphil facial lotion and was just fine. However, it came with a sample of lactic acid which is awesome, and I suspect I may update the effects of the neutralizer as I move up to higher concentrations of glycolic acid.
